(I will always consider reasonable offers)
This set was purchased in the early 70s in the Black Forest region of Southern Germany. At the time, it was very common to go into an eatery offering steak or game, and be served in one of these, and perhaps that is still the custom today. In any case, they could also be used as cheese serving plates, or, in which to offer charcuterie to your guests.
There are six of them, each having a leather suede strap for hanging, and each being slightly different in shape, color and size.
On average they measure 7.5" x 10"
These were used mostly for display, and as such, they are in excellent vintage condition.
