Depth 19.75" x 15" in height. What is more remarkable is the table is produced from 100% solid black American walnut lumber with no veneers. It includes 3 cased boxes that attach to the underside which pull out on steel slides providing a black laminate surface for additional drinks or food service area and cocktails. These slide out trays are entirely stable with no lateral movement. These cased boxes are removable also if the screws are removed if so desired. This table was taken from an estate where the owner had Dunbar 9 foot sofas and quite possibly this table was produced by custom order through Dunbar, but it is not marked. It is a very heavy table with the top having a knife edge to the sides and bears a striking resemblance to construction techniques of the "Long John" table by Edward Wormley and is entirely flat and without separation or flaws. Whether custom produced for the original architect by Dunbar or a cabinet maker of renown, the quality is unable to be matched. The table is entirely sound and has been refinished is a specialist varnish designed specifically for use with food and provides unparalleled protection from water, hot beverages and iced drinks and alcohol and will not leave rings on the surface. less
