I apologize for the reflections in the glass of this watercolor. At any rate, it's a large scene of cattle grazing in a field, presumably in Holland, with windmills in the distance. Expertly painted. As you can see, there is some aging of the paper, light browning, from having hung a long time in someone's home in Europe and perhaps with direct light on it some of the time. To me, however, it's not too distracting - gives it an antique look that is actually pleasing in a certain way. The frame, I think, is wonderful - antique gold leaf and plaster, most likely original, with a beautiful old patina. I am guessing the age is early 20th century. 29" x 47" with frame, 24" x 42" without.

The Chairish Buyer Guarantee ensures that you have complete peace of mind when

- Prior to shipping or local pickup, buyers may cancel an order for any reason, with the exception of some Made-to-Order items, where supplies have been purchased or work begun on the item.
- Please notify us within 24 hours of purchase if you would like to cancel an order, as prompt cancellation will reduce the likelihood that you will incur return shipping charges.

- Chairish Express In-Home deliveries are currently only offered for international cross-border shipments.
