Description: This No. 71 desk lamp was designed by Eileen Gray for Jumo, in France, during the 1930's. It is made … more This No. 71 desk lamp was designed by Eileen Gray for Jumo, in France, during the 1930's. It is made with a combination of chrome plated brass tube, aluminum corrugated base and lampshade with a double sided movable arm. The lamp is made very solid and with high-quality materials. The lampshade can be brought into different positions for better illumination.
The foot has a heavy casting, which ensures a secure stand. With the original electric system and the original bayonet chromed lamp it is an iconic lamp made with a unique blue color with a streamline design. The lamp is In original and overall good condition, with some bumps in the shade and in the base. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
official proof of authenticity,
