With a pierced plunger-form base supporting a full-figured cherub pedestal & a 3-socket fixture.
With its original sockets and figural flame finial.
The surface has a dark chocolate/almost black patina.
Simply an outstanding lamp from New York's premier maker of the Gilded Age!
Provenance: From the estate of Catherine Spencer Eddy Beveridge (1881-1970), who was a Socialite and Philanthropist, wife of Senator Beveridge of Indiana, and niece of Marshall Filed and by descent in her family.
