Art Deco Reclining Nude lithograph "Eve." by Louis Icart. Positioned on a creamy white mat and nicely framed in a 2" contemporary black wood frame, covered in glass.
Icart's etchings epitomize the depiction of women during the art deco period.
He created in excess of 500 etchings using a combination techniques including
etchings and dry point with hand coloring as characterized in the book
“Buying Works by Icart.” He created full sized etchings, erotic illustrated books,
beautiful pastel enhanced lithographs, menu covers, posters, postcards, advertising
prints, and oils on canvas.
Upper left corner in very small letters state "Copyright Louis Icart 1933 NY", Lower left states "221/500" and lower right signed "Louis Icart."
