Cute vintage Murano hand blown Sommerso amethyst purple with red accents Italian art glass squirrel figurine. Documented to the Cenedese company, and attributed to Antonio Da Ros. The squirrel has red accents on the eyes and the bubble inside the body. The piece is made with Neodymium "Alexandrite" glass, which changes color from daylight to indoor light, from a lavender purple to ice blue in this case. It also contains a high amount of Manganese, which makes it turn a pinkish orange under a black light. Would make for great company on your computer desk. Display it on your dresser, or curio cabinet. Measures 4” tall x 3 1/2” long.
