Description: Striking mushroom-shaped lamp that brings together all the characteristics of the "pop art" movement that began in the uk and … more Striking mushroom-shaped lamp that brings together all the characteristics of the "pop art" movement that began in the uk and usa in the 1960s:
•plastic material.
•vibrant red color.
imitation of famous designs from the early 20th century, made of affordable materials and mass-produced. The lamp has a "tulip" base in blue plastic and its half-sphere lampshade imitating a mushroom is made of white opaque glass. The lamp was manufactured by ixo in the early 1970s. Ixo was a brand of industrias quiel, s.a., a lighting company based in valencia (spain) famous for its designs.

•in excellent working condition, but please note the age of the wiring.

•spain 1970 marked on the base ixo quiel s.a.
