Allan in the trompe l'oeil style portraying a small bunch of red grapes and a golden pear setting on a distressed shelf. Drops of water run down the pear and rest on the grapes.
Presented in a rustic pine frame with milk paint finish.
Signed lower right by the artist and dated '99.
Condition is excellent.

Mr. Allan's biography:
Born in Springville, Utah, the son of Henry K. And Sarah J. Allan, he has attended Brigham Young University in Utah, the Porte Royale in Paris and the Art Students League, National Academy and Salmagundi Club in New York City. Mr. Allan has won numerous awards and trophies in various shows and competitions, including the Bronze Medal in 1978 at the National Academy of Art in New York City.
