made of one piece of coated or opaline glass, the body of this suspension lamp is indeed the design of a disc or "flying saucer."
the upper section and conical top, are white; the lower section is the same color, with a beige-gold colored, textured pattern that is mesh-like, and resembles tiny, laminated components of a circuit board. Both the center trim and lower rim, have a golden-copper color.

piece comes with its original ceiling mount and cord with a rubber washer to adjust the height, a plastic hook so one can hang or mount from the ceiling, and its original brass socket, that fits a small, b22-type bayonet lightbulb up to 250v, (bulb not included.)

the lamp is in overall, very good, original condition with light signs and marks of age and previous use commensurate with time, on the overall structure and upper and lower trims, as well as a patina of time (see photos.) a very small mark on the inside of the lower rim (see photo), some faded areas on the trims, but nothing that affects its beauty or cool design. A small crack on the plastic ceiling mount (see photo), but it remains sturdy and functions as designed when hung. No cracks or chips on the body of the piece.

the lamp has been tested and functions properly. When lit, it emits a warm glow (see photos.)

a fantastic piece of lighting, with a wonderful, "space age", retro design, that will integrate well into any given environment with other decor.
