- This one is different from the others we have listed in that the frame has some plaster issues mainly on … moreThis one is different from the others we have listed in that the frame has some plaster issues mainly on the bottom, left corner and it has been repainted in a way that shows the crazing and texture of the designs. Structurally it is in excellent shape. The poster is something we have had that was in need of a home. The graphics are bright and the cardboard type material is in very good condition save for some minor cracking along the bottom, right edge. A clear coating of paint was applied to bring out the colors and to preserve it. Please see the pictures for further details. less

We were offered to take a look at a collection of antique picture frames and mirrors found in the attic of an old farmhouse on the coast of Maine that was to undergo restoration. We ended up taking the whole lot because several were in very good shape and others had potential. Most all are from the middle to late 19th century and a few of the frames still retained hand drawn portraits. All pieces were inspected for any damage and in some cases nails were hammered back in and touch-up paint was applied where needed.
