There are a couple chipped flakes within the bezel area and is barely noticed. I wanted to maintain the integrity by restoring the original mirrors. The backings have been completely redone. You will notice some rust areas on the rear and also corrosive areas (patina) of the bronze due to their age. Also I replaced the crystal prisms, with new prisms which have antiqued pins. There are two arms, however, suspect that there originally may have been three arms. Unknown maker or origin, possibly Bradley Hubbard from the late 1800s or European (French or English) less

Eagle Bay … more Early 20th Century Gilt Bronze Mirror Wall Sconces, 2-Arm Candelabras with Lion Heads Top & Bottom, A PAIR
Eagle Bay Heirlooms is pleased to offer this one-of-a-kind pair of early 20th century gilt bronze mirror wall candelabras. They are oval in shape with an ornate detail of leaves surround the bezel which is also detailed over the beveled mirrors. A French Neoclassical Style with a hint of Gothic by the flaming Lion Head at the top and bottom of the pieces.
These are unmarked and appear to be very old. There is an antiquated hook on the rear for hanging, and the clamps holding in the mirrors have embossed flowers on each with flat head screws. I am not a metallurgist and am judging these are a cast gilt bronze and not brass, as they are pretty heavy.
