Authentic reproduction (as per tag--photo #8) of a vase from antiquity, this piece brings visions of flowing white togas, leaf head dressings, and fantastic architecture. It was purchased in Greece in the late 70's. Hand painted (photo #7) with fine detail. It has a chip on the underside of the lip and some scratches on the neck (photo #9). After all these years some of the paint is flaking off......art imitating reality?....which only gives it an even more authentic character.
It measures 3.5" in diameter and 4.25" high less
