Wonderful studio pottery by Tony Evans for Foss Creek of California. Unmistakable glaze and familiar form, but this piece is not signed, no tags remain. Large scale, hand applied glaze has tons of atmosphere. Dates from the 1980's, direct from a local estate this remains in good shape with just minor imperfections in the glaze. About 9 3/4" in diameter, 5 3/4" tall.
Very good original condition, makes a fine appearance. There are no major flaws, but it has some signs of age and handling. The flat glaze is delicate and shows some mild scratches, rubs, a few small dings or surface chips that look white-worst is shown in close ups. The top rim is clean, however there is a small chip on the bottom edge. NO other chips, no cracks, no repairs. Please study photos and send any questions.
