Mary Faulconer's unique aesthetic is evident in this print of a restaurant known as Restaurant au Vieux located on a street in Paris. With the entire first floor rendered in a bold red, the coffered molding along the exterior of the business are barely visible. The intense color of the first floor contrasts heavily with the second and third floors, as wll as the surrounding buildings, which are all painted white or off-white.
