Gorgeous 1880's Koch and Bergfeld 80% silver (NOT plated) Service Set - Chocolate Pot, Creamer and Hot Water Kettle on tilt stand with spirit burner. Signed A.F. Klebe. Hallmarked as Koch and Bergfeld (Bremen) and marked 800 silver on bottom of each piece.
Beautiful and striking design with intricate details and an inscribed heraldic shield depicting a wolf rampant between outstretched arms and over a bundle of grain. Very high quality workmanship and construction. The silver used is heavy gauge and rather thick compared to many other Victorian pieces. A smart investment!
