Some even still show touches of paint. This set of five rustic and Industrial sewing bobbins , will draw your eye instantly as they display their rustic charm. They are in good, vintage condition, with signs of their past as work pieces which include some worn ends and splits. This adds to the character and the authenticity of these bobbins. These bobbins were used in textile mills all around the world.

The Bowen Hunter spools measure 11"inches tall down to 7" , and the one does have a date on bottom and the number '7' is the size of thread used.

The Montecello spools are measure 15 1/2" and 12 1/2" tall.

The shorter spool, 7 1/4" tall, is called a Conical Bee Hive, maker unknown.

Spools are perfect to hold your ribbon, yarn, string or thread and give that vintage flair to your home.
These could be re-purposed in commercial / residential design or display. ie, lamps, candle holders, bracelet holders, hat stands, scarfs, jewelry, or can be used in many creative or artistic ways. less
