Typical of Art deco movment, very aesthetic by its trendy form and impressive colors. This vase perfectly fit in many interiors as masterpiece : Art deco scenery, obviously, but into a modern, scandinavian, classical, neo-classical, boho, industrial, tropical, etc. interiors too. Its will stand out in light interiors and will settle a classy spirit in dark interiors, red and black dominated.
Not marked on the bottom but form of this vase, handles, dimensions and enamel work are specific to Gilbert Méténier, son of Louis Méténier, active frome 1920 to 1940. Méténier are a famous ceramists family of France's center (next to Clermont-Ferrand). Colors of this pitcher are significantly more impressives and decorative than other Méténier products.
