We are delighted to offer this super rare suite of six original, antique, fully stamped Thonet Model 5501 swivel bergère chairs made for ZPM Radomsko circa 1900. These are as mentioned as rare as they come. These have the wonderful cast iron bases, the height adjustable swivel action and the original Thonet stamps to the base The timber grain simply glows, you can only really achieve this colour by natural aging and honest use, we have deep cleaned hand condition waxed and hand polished the suite from top to bottom, there will be age and use related patina marks here and there, some old repairs, they are all 100% solid and stable and ready to go for the new owners. Dimensions Height:- 77.5cm adjustable all the way up to 94cm Width:- 55cm Depth:- 69cm Seat height:- 41cm adjustable up to 57.5cm Please note all measurements are taken at the widest point. Please view the very detailed pictures as they form part of the description pertaining to the condition. Please note vintage period and original items such as leather seating will always have natural patina in the form of creasing and wear, we recommend annual waxing to ensure no moisture is lost, also hand dyed leather is not recommended to sit in direct sunlight for prolonged periods of time as it will dry out and fade.
