Rare set of knife rests, trivet and bottle coasters in lined molded glass with mirror background, rose gold tint, elegant square shape with two oblique slits. Brown velvet box.
Edited by Stylclair / Marcel Michaud, most likely in collaboration with Saint-Gobain glassware.
Stylclair is a Lyonnais distributor - with relays in Paris - of luxury furniture having collaborated with designers such as Marcel Breuer, Alvar Aalto or Le Corbusier. Stylclair's glass productions - both table tops and mirrors - are given to be always produced by the Saint-Gobain glass factory, which was also able to produce very similar pieces with mirror backs during the 1930s.
