We were offered to take a look at a collection of antique picture frames and mirrors found in the attic of an old farmhouse on the coast of Maine that was to undergo restoration. We ended up taking the whole lot because several were in very good shape and others had potential. Most all are from the middle to late 19th century and a few of the frames still retained hand drawn portraits. These are pictured to give an example of the time period they are from. There are also a couple pieces from the mid 20th century included in our listings. All pieces were inspected for any damage and in some cases nails were hammered back in and touch-up paint was applied where needed.
This piece is constructed of wood with an Intricate plaster border design. It is in very good overall condition with only some light scrapes to be found. The plaster is all intact and the frame is sturdy. Please see the pictures for further details.
