The birds are sculpted from solid Mahogany hardwood, the eyes are inlaid Walnut hardwood and the feet are solid brass. Each bird has been sanded to a very fine finish and sealed with Danish oil.

The pictures of the "Pair" featured in this listing are of a previous pair. Each pair is hatched (sculpted) after the last flock has flown the coop (studio) so the wood grain may vary slight from the photos in the listing.
