Gorgeous antique turquoise cloisonné vase with amazing color and detail made into a table lamp. Base has the Great Ming mark and was made in the style of Ming Dynasty cloisonné. Likely dating from the late 19th century, this vase could be Chinese in origin but also could be from a Japanese Meiji period artisan in the Chinese style. Accent colors are oxblood red, pink, yellow, and green. Very good to excellent condition with no noticeable damage. Lamp retains retailer label from Tale of the Cod shop in Chatham, Mass. Oxblood red and gray ceramic finial and black carved wood base. From an estate.
