Tall Czech torchiere table lamp by Josef Inwald for Barolac. Shows sea life and foliage. Elaborate square brass base with round torchiere base. Leaf designs all over. One bulb, works. 2 prong plug. Perfect for your living room or bedroom. Very good condition. Dealer 136.

*Josef Inwald was an Austrian and Czech entrepreneur in the glass industry. In 1862, he opened a glass factory in Germany, and a second in 1874. The company specialized in siphon bottles, window panes, and then eventually art glass. Barolac was a line of frosted glasswares made by Inwald for retailer John Jenkins & Son of London. The pieces are unmarked, but highly sought after. less
