Although identical in size and coloration, this piece has no signature and a slight chip to the base (SEE PHOTOS)
Not all pieces that have come to auction, even in France, have been signed by the artist.

At auction, the prices for this series by Colonieu, hovers around $6500, internationally.

Because it is not signed and there are a minor imperfections on the base, as photographed, this piece will be priced according.

However, it displays beautifully.

The vessel has an Off-White/Beige, long conical body with a round protruding center, decorated with a three-dimensional honey sienna brown glazed-over paint, abstract design.

This coloration adorns the top of the neck as well.

About the Artist
Alice Colonieu was a prominent modernist potter/sculptor whose expressive works were creatives totally freeform without the use of casts or molds

Her works are in the permanent collection of the Faemza Pottery Museum and the Paris Museum of Modern Art.
She publically exhibited her works during the 1950s, but by the 1960's she only took on special consigned orders
