- Very fancy ashtray made in the 70's in Japan by Kutani. It is footed, stands 2 1/4" tall and is … more Very fancy ashtray made in the 70's in Japan by Kutani. It is footed, stands 2 1/4" tall and is 7" in diameter. It's porcelain and has vivid, colorful hand painted flowers, trees and birds.They are lined in gold paint as well as the edges. There are flowers and vines painted along the vase. There is Kutani painted in gold on the bottom. There is slight wearing on the gold trim but otherwise in beautiful shape! The smaller ashtray features a hand painted rickshaw and floral design. There is some wear on the gold trim . It's from the 1950's and made by the same company out of Japan. It's 5 1/4 in diameter and 1 1/4" tall. less
