The shade element is a continuous form, with two slats on top to ventilate, and illuminate, this piece fits into the light box element, which is fastened to the wall. Currently wired to plug into a standard US outlet, the sconces can be easily reconfigured to be hardwired, or converted to European electrical standards. Each sconce accepts two standard size screw in bulbs. Priced and offered as a pair. See less
