Add a touch of opulence to your home with this stunning mid-century Palladio-style tole wall sconce. This monumental eleven-arm sconce spans approximately 53 inches and features scrolling acanthus leaf designs in a brilliant gold gilt finish. It is a decorative masterpiece with a commanding presence that will surely capture the attention and imagination of guests.
The photos above show the sconce hung from a picture rail, but it can also be attached directly to a wall using the two small mounting loops built into the back. The light switch is easily accessed at the base of the sconce just above the decorative ring. For optimal display and ambiance, recommend low-wattage bulbs, such as the 10W candelabra bulbs featured in photos. Picture rail chain and lightbulbs are not included in this offer.
Although unmarked, this piece was most likely made in Italy, circa 1960. less
