A very good quality late Victorian silver plated wine or Champagne pourer by Mappin & Webb, circa 1880 in date. It features an extendable handle and butterfly clip locking mechanism. The tube handle leads down to a circular gallery. Add this lovely pourer to enhance dining experience. Condition: In excellent condition the silver having been replated, please see photos for confirmation. Jonathan Mappin opened his first small silversmith workshop in Sheffield in 1774 and the following year the Mappin mark was entered at the assay office.
