architect, urban planner, designer, exhibition and restoration expert, piero bottoni is among the great protagonists of rationalism. As a designer on an urban and territorial scale, he remains famous as one of the authors of two plans that marked the history of italian urban planning: the val d'aosta plan, promoted by adriano olivetti in 1936 and the a.r. all his work is an integral part of the origins of modern architecture and design.
