On each leg, there is a carved griffin that appears to be holding up the table. Each spot has been carefully carved and this table looks amazing from every angle. The piece is topped with a bevel edge pink marble! The whole thing together is just stunning and would be perfect as a center table or could even function for games, drinks, as an island - lots of possibilities here. It even rolls! Top comes up off the base and is not attached. It's sturdy since the marble is pretty heavy. I just adore this table and can see it as a very prized possession in a fine home. Was well cared for and very loved by previous owner, an antiques collector. less
