- Considering their age of 100+ years the doors appear to be in overall good condition I did notice the streamline … moreConsidering their age of 100+ years the doors appear to be in overall good condition I did notice the streamline design at the bottom did have some sort of a thin line of plaster or resin or something at some point that has come off throughout the years because I can see in a few places where it is still intact . I also noticed a small area towards the top of one of the doors with some slight damage where possibly something had hit the door causing it to push through to the other side but the wood is still intact on both sides I also noticed that the bottom of the doors looks as though a piece of wood had been added for height ? I’m not sure wit it is a lighter shade but appears to be original to the doors I tried to include all of the detail in the photosThe doors can be used less

These doors truly are amazing and a very rare find. They are original from the 1920s. The doors feature a beautiful art deco molding at the top portion with a streamline design towards the bottom. It is a nice mixture of nouveau and deco truly capturing the style of the 20s.This is the first time we have come across doors quite like this. They are still in the original wood state and have not been painted over throughout the years . The doors were originally used together and have a privacy strip of wood that goes down the center . I did notice one of the doors appears to be a little bit lighter than the other most likely to be the door with most use. less
