Beautiful and large pendulum, very decorative, very unusual at the time. It is made of bronze Ormolu and patinated bronze.
She reveals to us a sublime scene of war figure of two knights whom is injured and Terrail, Lord of Bayard, the knight without fear and without reproach, valiantly supporting and defending his companion face weapon to enemies.
Period: Restoration - Circa: 1820.
Style: Troubadour, Medieval - Origin: France.

Completely revised by a professional watchmaker - Movement of origin without modification, suspension wire silk striking hours and half an hour on ancient bell.
His white enamel dial is set off by a crown of finely chiseled gilt bronze or Roman numerals and small needles finely worked become light.
Its base rests on four feet winding acanthus decor, enhanced with a garland fluted which highlights a magnificent trophy of weapons consisting of the spear and the scarf knight.
The armor worn by the knight was embarrassing, inconvenient and do not allow him to wear and take with him objects or useful accessories.
The scarf, relayed to a mere fabric in the Middle Ages had a purely functional role.
