The trinket box has "Fragonard" in-scripted on its lower front, which is in homage to Jean Honoré Fragonard, a French artist (1732-1806) who influenced this particular theme in French porcelain of the time. The tiny, gold rimmed, cobalt blue plate, has a tiny brass stand. They are both in very good vintage condition but the trinket box has a small chip on the edge (photo #7) which is not visible when the lid is on See less
