This Trumpet Vase is a stunning example of "Elegant American Glass" from the 30s and 40s. It is in the Gold Encrusted Wildflower pattern. Despite the enormous amount of decorative gold etching, it whispers a subtle luxury. This exemplar stands 10-7/8 in tall and has a mouth opening of 5-1/8 in. The wildflowers pattern covers the wavy optic glass clear lengthy body of the fluted vase. A solid gold ring trims the edge of the foot, which has a diameter of 4.25 in, and the mouth opening of the vase.
It has well weathered the test of time and has but one sign of damage to show for it. And that is a small imperfection on the mouth pf the vase, as shown in the two penultimate photos of the listing.
This vase is true to the name, "Elegant American Glass".
