Richard Mühlberger, former director of Museum of Fine Arts, Springfield, MA, has written this beautifully illustrated volume after years of research and collaboration with collectors Robert and Marjorie Hirschhorn. Mühlberger was a guest curator for the American Folk Art Museum.
