This Jo Delahaut rare vintage 1983 Minimalist fine art serigraph Abstract silkscreen print is a very special and unique piece to add to your collection.
The fine art serigraph print is published by Acte III, printed in Italy in 1983 in an unnumbered limited edition. It features an untitled " Sans Titre " Abstract artwork image by Delahaut, copyright 1983 Jo Delahaut and Acte III.
Jo Delahaut ( 1911 - 1992 ) The Belgian born artist is best known for his Geometric Abstractions. The classically trained artist and fine arts educator is one of the pivotal figures of The Geometric Abstraction Movement in Belgium. Delahaut was a member of The Paris Movement " Realities Nouvelles " in the 1940's, and a founding member of " La Jeune Peinture Belge " in 1947 and the Belgian art group " Art Abstract " in 1952. During this period he formed his own unique style gaining international recognition. For him practice of Geometric Abstraction was a means of awakening the mechanisms of intellectual activity while cultivating an ideal openness to the world and universal harmony.
The rare vintage Minimalist fine art serigraph Abstract silkscreen print measures 27 1/2" W X 27 1/2" W, with an image area of 23 1/2" W X 23 1/2" H. it is printed on high quality smooth finish heavyweight premium paper stock with vibrant ink colors in an eggshell matte finish.
It is in excellent " like new " very clean condition with very light signs of handling. It has never been framed. There is a very small minor variation in the top right orange square area inherent to the printing process. Please see photos for condition reference.
