The photos sadly do not fully convey the gorgeous iridescence, though the ones where the platter is angled give some idea of the iridescent effect from both the top and the bottom. The top is perfectly smooth, and the edge as well; the bottom is akin to a topographic map, with the glass forming smooth bumps and ridges that help to catch the light. This would be stunning as a cheese or desert platter! less
