Diane Grant is a multidisciplinary artist, creator of unique sculpted furniture as
well as light fixtures, painter and ceramicist.
Diane's sculpted furniture and painting work are deeply rooted in the continuously
incorporating a range of materials.
Those materials are used together to create unique textures and forms.
Through the mix of materials such as metal, plaster, paper, botanical elements,
stones, plastic and find objects, she creates unique ensembles.
The most recent architectural and historical style of her ceramic work stems
from her education in the History of Art and her previous background as an antique dealer in France, specializing in Fantasy furniture and curiosities.
She translates her visual knowledge in ancient and modern architecture, urbanism and archeology into various sculpted pieces and artistic structures.
Inspired by the ceramic work of Peter Voulkos and Stan Bitters, her interest is fueled by elements of layering, juxtaposing of primary and complex forms.
Her works are part of prestigious private collections in Paris, London, Rome, New York, San Francisco, Chicago, Miami, Dallas and were presented at the international art fairs as PAD London and AD Interiors, Paris. less
