Hand-knotted in wool, a 3x13 runner from Rug & Kilim’s latest curation of rare tribal pieces.
Originating from Turkey circa 1950-1960, the rug enjoys a series of repeating hexagonal star guls on the field—traditional motifs in rich tones of orange, red, pale blue & brown. The pattern displays impeccable movement while remaining outlined with cultural symbols & chevrons in a similar colorway. Prevailing in great condition, an exemplary piece of unique folk art worthy of being a meaningful addition to a variety of projects.
