Hand-knotted in wool, a 3x11 runner from Rug & Kilim’s prized new curation of rare tribal rugs.
Originating from Turkey circa 1950-1960, the drawing relishes a symmetric diamond pattern with traditional latch hooks in rich orange, beige-brown, red, gray & black with a scintillating sense of movement. Connoisseurs & collectors may note a chain of diamond patterns in variegated tones further exemplifying the nomadic aesthetics of its time.
