In this series of figurative paintings, Lumi Mizutani pays tribute to the landscapes of Japan. Plum and cherry blossoms, pines, weeping willows, the artist places a lot of importance on nature and trees in her works of art. She also represents typical animals, imperial palaces and effigies of Buddha. This series is characterized by the use of India ink combined with color pigments.
