A rare, large sofa designed by Ludvig Pontoppidan, manufactured in Denmark around 1940 by himself. This eye-catching sofa has a wonderful warm brown wooden frame with spokes in the armrests creating an amazing appearance. It has a nice, deep seat that feels very warm and comfortable and creates an impressive style. It is upholstered in high quality purple fabric that looks and feels very luxurious, fitting this design perfectly! A wonderful addition to any interior. It has a little storage space under the seat, a very nice detail. The sofa remains in good original condition, with minor wear consistent with age and use, preserving a beautiful patina.
