They … Read more This is a RARE "unfindable" set of 5 furniture lithographs that date to 1878. We purchased these in France. They feature sofas that are called "Tete-a-Tetes", referring to the seating position, "face-to-face". Documentation on the bottom refers to given "names" to each of the pieces. The elaborate detail of the carved wood and the textiles are typically representative of the French period. They are in excellent antique condition consistent with age and history. Please note that there are some indications of age along the border edges which will not show once matted and framed. They have the original lithograph plate marks visible at the borders. The collection of 5 make for interesting and rare wall decor. They are in horizontal format measuring 12.75 x 10 inches. . See less
