The work is rich in iconographic inventions and heartbed colors and ringing, with effects of great preciousness. The mystical marriage of Santa Caterina, to whom the child, standing from Mary in a blazing red dress with blue lapels, is inserting the Wedding ring. The bride's status of Jesus of Catherine is witnessed by the sumptuous dress, with huge puff sleeves, and from the magnificence of worn jewels, including a complex hairstyle, a thread of pearls with ruby pendant and drop pearl earrings. They assist an angel with a piercing frontal portrait, with a expressive use of hands. The style is the happiest of the artist, with extensive planes of intense color, complex spatial relationships, superabundant panneggi and serene atmospheres, accompanied by a sophisticated taste for detail.
