The finnish word jää has two meanings; ‘ice’ and ‘please stay’. Therefore a fitting name for a sustainable design - seat, side table or a console. Through the design and use of materials, we wanted to show that recycled furniture can be both functional and aesthetically pleasing. Made in britain with a mixture of polyethylene (pe) and polypropylene (pp) plastic with small aluminium and steel parts, the jää is fully recyclable. The pe and pp plastic shapes are 100% recycled post-consumer plastic which is pure waste that has been diverted from landfills.

jää is a multifunctional and adaptable design suitable for both indoor and outdoor in public and private spaces. Handmade in uk.
