The artwork is not framed. One of the photos presented a visualization of the frame. Andrzej Fogtt is a Polish artist, born in 1950. He studied at the Visual Arts School in Poznan and graduated in 1974 under the supervision of professors Zdzislaw Kepinski and Magdalena Abakanowicz. Initially, he was considered to be a part of the "new figuration" then defined his style in a more personal manner, which brought him a lot of fame. He received the Grand Prix at the Polish contemporary painting festival in Szczecin in 1984, he represented Poland during the Venice Biennial the same year, then the Gloria Artis Medal in 2009, awarded by the Ministry of Culture and National Polish heritage.
