The armchair was first shown 1957 at the Stockholm Furniture Fair and is made by AB Hjertquist & co in Nässjö, Sweden. A characteristic example of Scandinavian modern style with clean sophisticated lines and ageless design. The chair has all the distinct marks of a retro furniture. But it would fit just as well into a modern home. It has a frame in light oak with loose cushions and tan leather straps. The armchair is in good vintage condition consistent with age and use with smaller traces of wear. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
official proof of authenticity,
however it is well documented in design history. I take full responsibility for any authenticity
