Made … Read more Mid 19th century Swedish folk art hand painted pine coffer circa 1841. Fine quality piece of Scandinavian folk art. Made from solid pine with a slight dome top lid. Base coated in a blue/green scheme with initialed front and dated 1841. Original hinges and rope twisted carrying handles to the sides. Unpainted interior with candle box inside. Expected losses and fading to paintwork, minor age splits. Evidence of dead inactive treated wood worm. See less
