The name came from its open design to allow the display of special things or easy access to objects and books that are frequently needed. Trimmed with a carved grapevine pattern, anchored with a pair of short posts, the opening is elegant and auspicious ( symbolic of fruitful results). A carved panel at the bottom of the cabinet echoes the grape motif, emphasizing the theme of "prosperity and family legacy". An interior shelf provides extra storage. Solid wood. Tenons and mortises.
